War Posters

     The poster I analyzed yesterday was about this girl saying that if she were a man she could be in the war and she says that she wishes she was a man. They used a lot of untied states colors, the blue, red and white. To show that you need to have patriotism and do this for your country. If I were to recreate my poster, I would make the woman that is standing strong on the regular poster I would make her look like she is scared and I would add a man that is hurt and scared also. The words I would change and say instead of I want to be a man, have it say “what are the men doing?” I would also add the U.S. Navy is too weak to protect its men. The war is not for you. The colors I would use would be dark around the two people and then everywhere else I would put happy colors to show that they are in a world of hurt but once they get out of it they will be happy and everything will get better. The poster would have big words to show that this is an important message to all.

Johnny Got His Gun

       I feel that if someone is not happy with their life then they shouldn't have the right to end it. If they are really that unhappy then they could go and find help. There is always something that could make someone happy. No matter what their situation is. At sometimes in peoples life it may seem like it’s at the point of the worst and you could end your life but things only get better from rock bottom. Everyone in this world does a part in keeping our world one and connected. If the people let everyone kill themselves if they wanted to then there would be so many people that would be dead and our population would go down which means that there would be less food and things bought which means we would not be making that much money for our country and we could go into a depression. It’s like a cycle because if no one is buying anything then the government isn't getting a lot of mean which means they can’t pay the people that are working and making everything as much as they should. That means they can’t buy all the things that they want and it just continues in a cycle. It’s not illegal or anything to not kill yourself if you wanted too. You have the right to do anything but if they enforce that it was okay to kill yourself then more people would do it. Thus the reason why they haven’t told anyone it was okay to kill yourself if you wanted. If you actually hated everything as much as it took to kill yourself there would be a lot of people hurt with the outcome of everything that had happened. The outcome would be too hard to handle for some people with the everyone being allowed to kill themselves.
